The wines from Domaine Barmès-Buecher
in Wettolsheim
Let's take a look at what's most important: our wines, which are the culmination of all our painstaking work.
We've enjoyed crafting them, now it's your turn to discover them.
Spontaneous, eager to please, fresh and of course, fruity, our “vins de fruits” are unfussy wines. Always ready to accept an unexpected invitation, these straightforward and unpretentious wines can be enjoyed in their youth. These are wines to have close at hand, for get-togethers with friends and immediate drinking enjoyment.
Domaine Barmès-Buecher’s vins de fruit
- 7 Grains

These are wines that reflect the array of terroirs found in the Domaine de Barmès-Buecher vineyards, each bottle of wine offering unique emotions and flavours that vary according to their geology, climate and environment of origin. These wines are the signature of the terroirs and express themselves fully, freely and distinctively, showing a bold complexity, greater length on the palate and clear-cut flavours providing extensive drinking enjoyment.

- Rosenberg Riesling
- Rosenberg Pinot Gris

These are fine wines that deliver great emotion and possess a very high level of vibration. They are wines for laying down, capable of lasting for decades with complexity, density and depth. They come from exceptional Terroirs that require a great deal of close, personal attention from Maxime to reveal their hidden nature. This bond is crucial if these timeless wines are to become Grands Crus, wines of recognised excellence.

Our Domaine produces two different Pinot Noir cuvées. The Pinot Noir’s velvety berries give birth to wines with a dense colour and pronounced yet silky tannins.
Pinot Noir Réserve: originating from several plots, this is a crunchy wine with lovely fruity notes and a fine delicacy.
Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes: this wine hails from old vines of over 50 years of age growing in the Hengst Grand Cru and has been recognised as an AOC Alsace Grand Cru since the 2022 vintage. With its powerful and authentic character, this wine is a real charmer.
Our Crémant: Brut ZERO ZERO ZERO!
Yes - three zeros!
I think this name is a good fit for our Crémant:
- Zero chaptalisation of the must is the 1st zero!
- Zero chaptalisation of the base wine (for the second fermentation in bottle) is the 2nd zero!
- Zero dosage (at the time of disgorgement) is the 3rd zero!
Fine, elegant bubbles, a fresh, invigorating Crémant with invigorating aromas of citrus fruit and white flowers.
Mue
It was our quest for a greater understanding of ancestral and natural vinification techniques that inspired us to produce an Orange wine.
The result is surprising, to say the least! No more drawing comparisons with white wines, looking for similarities with reds or trying to find a box to tick for this wine.
To appreciate this wine to the full, it is best you cast off any preconceptions and just allow yourself to be transported...
Mue offers an explosion of aromas resulting from the natural maceration process, an intimate period of contact between skins and pulp that enables each grape to reveal its essence.
This wine is an extrovert. The first few days of skin-to-skin contact following its birth have connected Mue to the outside world, binding it intrinsically to the vegetal.
Mue is original and intriguing. It has drawn out the finest qualities of its grapes.
The result is a warm, invigorating wine with excellent tension, a distinctive tannic structure and a pleasant bitterness that lingers on the finish.
Mue offers drinkers a new tasting experience. Its notes of raspberry, IPA, root vegetables, thyme, pepper, liquorice, undergrowth, floral infusions, mulled wine and oriental spice will transport you to another dimension.
It will convert even the most sceptical wine drinker when served as an aperitif with a selection of tapas. It also pairs beautifully with spicy foods and works well with poultry dishes. And if there are a few drops left at the end of the meal, try it with some hard cheeses such as Emmental, Comté or Beaufort.
